BELL H13 MASH Helicopter & Accessories

Since my BELL47G helicopter pleases so many, I have created another variant of this helicopter, which may be also interesting for the roleplayers among us:
It is an early version of the Bell Model 47, which was used in the US Army under the name "H13" and especially in the MASH version got well known by the eponymous film and the television series.

The H13-MASH, mainly used in the Korean War, differs visually from the civilian BELL47G above all by a single tank behind the main rotor instead of the two side tanks and the modified skid landing gear, on each of which a stretcher could be placed under a rather rudimantary protective cover for the head area.

The heli shown here is, in contrast to the already published BELL47G, "playable": The stretchers have the function triggers of the "couch", so the avatars can lie on their back, but of course everything else can be done, which makes fun on the couch. Since there is no mirror image of the function trigger, it is installed on the left just as it is on the right. As a result, a patient lies correctly (with his head forward) but in some "games" and while sitting, the legs are then between stretcher and heli. At the pulpit you can lean left and right and do whatever the "wall" trigger allows.

When merged into a world the heli appears on a base plate in the sea next to the small island of the "default" world; Heli and base plate are grouped separately, so that the helicopter can be easily positioned elsewhere.

As an "addition" there is a matching ambulance tent in the package as well as a camp bed with "couch" functionality and a double camp bed with "bed" functionality consisting of two combined camp beds with a blanket over the space and cushions. These parts also are grouped separately, so they can be arranged arbitrarily.

Auf Anfrage einiger Spieler hatte ich auch eine englischsprachige Version dieser Anleitung erstellt. Da hierfür inzwischen genug Alternativen vorhanden sind, werde ich zukünftig nur noch die deutschsprachige Anleitung aktualisieren, beginnend mit der Version für 3DXChat 2.7 Build >=421

For the German speaking players I have translated Basic Game Manual and added some hints and extensions. As a PDF document it can be downloaded and printed.
Upon request of some players, I had also created an English version of this manual.
Since meanwhile there are enough alternatives for the English-language version, I will only update the German-language instructions in the future, starting with the version for 3DXChat 2.7 Build> = 421

Classic Hammond B3 with pedalboard and Leslie

There are a lot of events and clubs where rock music is played and performed, and many people in 3DXC like it (me too!). Great fun are "live concerts/jam sessions" on stage.

What I was missing in regard of the instruments was a rock organ, though different keyboards may fill the gap. So I decided to make my own organ, and it should be the "mother of all electric / electronic organs", a

Classic Hammond B3 with full pedalboard and Leslie cabinet.

Most of the rock organists played this organ on stage standing, without the pedal, as the bass is played by another guy, and also in jazz music Jimmy Smith did not use the pedal but played the bass line with his left hand.

Jon Lord of Deep Purple not even used the Leslie; the typical sound came from routing the "straight" outlet of the B3 directly into a guitar valve amp and override it till the desired amout of distortion was obtained, which in combination with the scanner vibrato chills cold on the back and gives you goose bumbs.

The added world editor files for my B3 allow all these setups: Organ, pedal board, bench and Leslie are separate files.
When you merge the organ into your layout it appeares at position X (-11.2066), Y (-5.88595), Z (-3.98699) at ocean level on a square surface of lawn.
Merging pedalboard and bench positions them in the perfect fit to the organ, so if you want to use them, group them with the organ before you move the complete layout to the desired position.
The Leslie cabinet (if used) can be positioned anywhere in the vicinity of the organ.

I added 2 "lean" versions of the organ by removing the extreme details like the numbers on the drawbars, small screws, hinges of the cover and so on to reduce the file size and part numbers. For use on stage without bench and Pedalboard there is an even leaner version without the backfolded cover. The so called "Stage Pack" includes this lean organ w/o cover and the Leslie cabinet.

Fender Rhodes Stage Piano 73 MK1

Here is another classic keyboard:
Fender Rhodes Stage Piano 73 MK1
Used in almost every part of the music scene since the 1970s, where the soft sound of this first electromechanical piano was appreciated, it has been at home on every stage of the world for generations, until it has been replaced by the electronic samplers and synthesizers that imitate the typical sound of this instrument.

The attached models are deliberately kept simple to keep the files small; if they are still too big, you can almost halve the file size by removing the word "SeventyThree".
Since the base of the stage piano has telescopic legs, you can adjust the height as needed; attached are a version for playing while standing and one for playing while sitting, which also includes a small stool.
Each version contains the piano, the pedal, the base and the appropriate trigger for the style of play; these components are grouped in separate groups so that they can be removed easily if the stage piano, e.g. is planned to sit on top of an organ.

Rock Organ "VOX Continental 301"

After the (in every way) heavyweight "Hammond B3" here now, as a counterpart, another classic in the field of rock organs:
VOX Continental 301
This single-manual organ appeared around 1962 and during the 1960s was the rock organ par excellence; when the well-known groups used an organ alongside guitars, it was in most cases the VOX Continental, ranging from The Beatles (I'm Down) to The Doors (Light My Fire), The Animals (House Of The Rising Sun) to Iron Butterfly (In A Gadda Da Vida).
Characteristic are the housing with the orange-red cover, the inverse-colored keyboard and the steel tube base with the Z-shaped supports.

I have attached the organ in two different compilations:

If the "Connie" is to be played standing up, I have attached a small pedestal so that the trigger of the DJ console "fits" without the player sinking into the ground; the file contains the organ with base frame, the swell pedal, the connecting cables and that pedestal as separate groups on a small base plate at position X (-11.2066), Y (-5.88595), Z (-3.98699).

If the organ is to be played while seated, the pedestal is dropped and it is standing on the floor as usual. I have added a small stool, which allows the right stance with the trigger of the bar stool. Also in this compilation organ, swell pedal, connecting cables and stool are grouped separately.

Police island outpost

Polizei-Insel-Außenposten
Dieses Projekt ist vielleicht für Rollenspieler interessant und kann je nach Vorhaben entsprechend ausgebaut werden.

Es handelt sich um eine vollständige "Welt", die geladen werden kann (Load from File), ein Polizei-Außenposten auf einer kleinen Insel, die man sich innerhalb einer Gruppe von ähnlichen Inseln vorstellen kann. Neben dem Dienst- und Wohngebäude mit Büro und Ruheraum gibt es auf dem Dach einen Helikopter-Landeplatz mit dem entsprechenden Hubschrauber und einen Anlegesteg am Strand vor dem Haus mit einem Polizeiboot und natürlich einen Flaggenmast mit Fahne.
Der Helikopter ist eine weiter verfeinerte Version meines BELL47G, dessen Vorbild beim LAPD im Einsatz war; links und rechts des Cockpits sind Funktionstrigger "Wand" angebracht, so dass sich Avatare dort anlehnen und auch alle anderen Posen der "Wand" ausführen können.
Das Boot ist ebenfalls "bespielbar"; es sind drei "Sofas" eingebaut, und der Sitz des Schiffsführers bietet alle drei Sitzposen des Barhockers.

Wie man unschwer erkennt, besteht diese "Welt" aus einer modifizierten Default-Welt, was den Vorteil hat, dass man auch einzelne Gruppen separat verwenden kann in seiner eigenen Welt:
Einzeln zu mergen (Merge from File) sind (siehe nachfolgende Posts):
der Helikopter, der Fahnenmast und das Dach mit Helipad und Metalltreppe zum Aufsetzen auf jedes Default-Haus (nach Abnehmen der Dachplatte)
das Polizeiboot und der Bootssteg

Police island outpost
This project may be interesting for role players and can be expanded accordingly depending on the project.

It is a complete "world" that can be loaded (Load from File), a police outpost on a small island that can be imagined within a group of similar islands. In addition to the service and residential building with office and rest room there is a helipad on the roof with the appropriate helicopter, and a dock on the beach in front of the house with a police boat and of course a flagpole with flag.
The helicopter is a further refined version of my BELL47G, which was in use at the LAPD; to the left and right of the cockpit are functional triggers "wall", so that avatars can lean against them as well as execute all other poses of the "wall" trigger.
The boat is also "playable"; there are three "sofas" built in and the captain's seat offers all three seating poses of the bar stool.

As one easily recognizes, this "world" consists of a modified default world, which has the advantage that one can also use individual groups separately in one's own world:

Mergeable individually (Merge from File) are (see following posts):
the helicopter, the flagpole and the roof with helipad and metal stairs which can be put on every default house (after removing the roof panel)
the police boat and the boat dock

Burger Grill with accessories

Burger Grill with accessories.

Besides the "tools" that come with the grill itself I put the accessories on a small
camping table, but they are not grouped with it, so you can pick them separately
and put them where you want them:
There are the precut burger buns, a bottle with ketchup and with mayonnaise,
tongs etc.

Double Sundbed

Ok, the idea is not new: combine two of the camp beds to make a double sunbed with the bed functionality for sex.

This one is a little different in it's realisation as it also keeps the original functionality (lieing on the back, sunbathing)
for both sides of the double-camp-bed.
The triggers for the sunbeds are at either sides (the wood parts),
the trigger for the bed functions are the surface of the upholstery (without the pillow in the middle).

BELL47G Helicopter with Helipad

This is a Helicopter BELL 47 G, which comes with a suitable helipad (landing field).
The helicopter and the helipad are grouped separately, so you can use them to your demands or simply remove the helipad and put the heli wherever you like.
The helipad is the green and yellow marking only, completed with the flashing lights in the corners, so it needs a base structure or can be put e.g. on the roof of the standard house as shown.

Pavilion (Party Tent)

Here is a pavilion (party tent) with different numbers of side walls.

Of course you can use pavilion 5 only (that with all 4 walls) and remove the unwanted walls,
but for the lazy ones I did that for you:
Pavilion 1 has no walls, pavilion 2 has one wall, pavilion 3 has 2 walls and pavilion 4 has 3 walls.
The second picture shows a row of different pavilions to make a big one. PARTY ON!
