world editor file extension

Have been trying to find an editor that will let me edit .world files downloaded to my computer. As I have some experience in building with a mesh program, I want to to build outside 3dxchat. The world editor lacks some stuff that would help building and cutting down the build time. So I found this information about the file extension .WORLD. https://fileinfo.com/extension/world I tried the editor and it will not load the file. Soooooo wondering what i could use to do this with. Any help will be appreciated. Agathon
