Greetings everyone. Here I will try to help out people who want to get started or are looking for different software / service's to use for DJing in 3DXChat. I will try keep this short and sweet (trying to keep it simple too) or I could go on forever! There are many different products you can use to get the job done so I will only list some of the very popular options below. DJ Software VirtualDJ Serato DJ Rekordbox Mixxx Winamp The DJ software is what will play your music on your computer, you can play the music directly in the software or you can plug in controllers to play. The bottom two options (Mixxx and Winamp) are both freeware and will not cost you anything to use, the more powerful software with more features will require you to pay to use them. If all you want to do is just stream music and not mix then Winamp is the one for you, it's very simple and easy to setup. For anybody looking to go further into DJing with mixing, personally I would always tell people to stay away from Winamp as it offers no features at all that will enable you to progress with DJing (it will only play your music song by song). A good starting point for anybody looking to mix would be to pick up Mixxx as it's free and let's you mix your music using it's various features. Then if you're looking to go a step further again you can look at the paid software, they all work pretty similar but with minor differences between them, you can pick up free trials to test them out before buying on their respective websites. Go ahead and try them out, find the one you prefer before spending your money! Streaming Service's SHOUTca.st MyRadioStream Setting up your streaming service will be the next step you need to take after you've got your DJ software. Above are a couple of the most popular services to use, they supply free servers you could test with and have some fun but the more slots for people to listen at the same time and the higher quality of stream comes with a price. Personally I have been using SHOUTca.st's Pro option for the past year and I have not had a single problem with it, they offer an amazingly high quality service (but that's just my opinion). At the end of the day you only need to pay for what you need. Once you have your server set up you will then need to connect your DJ software to it and then use the link your server will provide you and paste it into 3DXChat. With everything hooked up correctly you should be ready to go, start playing that music to your hearts content! Hi All I have been asked many times about what the coordinates of the walls in the 3DX Apartments (APT) are, so I figured I would write an article about it Whats a coordinate? Well, it's numbers that tell the game where in the game space a prop is. They look like this: <object> <name>pole</name> <posX>8.986866</posX> <posY>3.37500143</posY> <posZ>4.97816944</posZ> <rotX>0</rotX> <rotY>270</rotY> <rotZ>90</rotZ> </object> This one is for a single Pole and its in APT2 The posX,Y,Z coordinates tells the game where the prop is in the game space and the rotX,Y,Z tells the game the rotation of the prop. The game creates the same code for every prop you put in your room. Apartment Walls Now before we move on I want to create an easy reference to the walls of Apartment 1 and 2 walls. These drawings (thank your Tamara) will name the walls for your reference (I hope the Modz creators adopt this as a standard for their Modz) So when you see me talking about "Wall A2-2" you will know its Apartment 2, wall 2 The blue X is marking the Zone in points(X 0, Y 0, Z 0) and it also shows the direction in which the prop will move depending on the Positive or Negative number you use. As we are looking down on the apartment, "-Z" is left and "+Z" is right. So if our "posZ" and "posX" coordinate were both "0" the prop would be in the center of the cross. If we wanted to move the Prop to the Left 5 steps we would make our "posZ" a negative number. Example "posZ -5"(Left) to move it right the number would be "posZ 5"(Right) Coordinates for Apartment Walls Ok so here I will list the X 0, Y 0, Z 0 of all the walls in all the Apartments. But first, let me explain a few things. When you are using a Modz like Lions Pole Art Creator, it has a Window that shows the Art you have uploaded to it. Like this Apple The Top left of the view window is the Starting point. Because I know the what the top left coordinates are on the top left of Wall A2-1 and I used these coordinates in lions Modz. My picture appears Now I want my Apple in the middle of Wall A2-1, So I need to move it over. So because I need to move it in the "pos-Z" direction I will decrease the Z number I used in Lions Modz The original Number was " Z: 4.984" and I want to move it left (remember the Apartment reference pictures above) So I will remove the "4" and make the number "Z: 0.984" in Lions Modz. YA!!! now it's in the Middle of my Wall Below are the Coordinates for the top left of each wall in Apartment 1 and 2. Have fun!!! <3 Ayon Notes: The coordinates listed below are for Poles only. Pandora is a website that takes the information found in user profiles and allows you to search for Avatar names to see the information within their profiles without being in game. As it uses the account ID it also makes the names of the Avatars past and present alts available. Notes about Pandora: There is a free and paid version. The free version The free version lets you see the current information within an Avatars profile, As you can in game by searching for it. The Free version also gives you 5 free “Reveal” Credits. If you use a Reveal credit it allows you to see an Avatars Alts for one month only. Your Reveal credits have an individual one month life cycle that are reset one month after you use it. The Avatars Alts you have revealed are hidden when the credit you used is reset 31 days after you use it.(You will need to Reveal them again if you forgot the Avatars Alts names… its best to write them down) The paid version. Depending on the subscription package you purchase with bitcoins a subscriptions will reveal all players in the data base for the duration of your Subscription. There are 1 month, 6 months and 12 months subscriptions available. When your Subscriptions expires, all the accounts are hidden again. Does Pandora give me access to see players who have multiple accounts? No Pandora can only see the alts on a single account Does Pandora have access to my billing information and email address? No Nothing in 3DXChat code allows anyone to access your credit card or email address. This information is held by the Billing company. How Do I access Pandora? To access Pandora website you will need contact the developer and download the TOR browser.
