Beautiful room, very well done ?... you would not find the Yin Yang Symbol in a traditional japanese tea room as it goes down to tradititional chinese culture (daoism). 
Whilst the philosophical concept heavily influenced Shintō, there are no known places of historic relevance showing or using that symbol in Japan.
It only appeared recently in Japan, probably at the same time with McDonald's. ?
