Alex, is it just the Sinks or all the old V1 props?

Hi Ellizza AlexR responded to the error log I sent him. Here is his response. "First, she needs to run her file through the duplicate remover, probably multiple times. She has a lot of sink objects in her file, so the game probably just runs out of memory. The sink object is a bit "special", it has two nested objects with the "props" tag, so every time she saves her file with the vanilla client, the sinks are duplicated. It's hard to notice since they overlap. It only takes 13 saves to get 8192 sinks from a single one. She currently has about 24600 sinks (or more) in her save."

Hi All I would like to announce our first Modz party to showcase objects that people have created with the World Editor. This event will be held on AsherReins Skyhaven Airship with live DJs spinning all night. Our theme for this party is to allow the amazing creators in 3DX to showcase object they have made. These objects can be lava-lamps, Cars, Coffee Machines, Trucks, DJ Consoles, Cloths Racks, tables and chairs....anything really that is not a full build. Objects that our members submit will be added to a separate gallery room for viewing and Access to this room will be via a group room invite from within the Main Party at Ashers. Hi Pierrouss Thank you for sharing this post with us here on the Modz forums. One of the reasons I support the Modz forums is it allows for frank, open and adult discussions about 3DX....that are not heavily censored. Gizmos response is not a surprise. I am pretty sure he has known about all these issues for a long while, but as I said above. The game is developed in a basement (being a metaphor for a low tech company that creates this game on the weekends) As Alex has said, this issue of being able to copy someones build file without them knowing has been around since Day one. Its just taken until now for it to happen publicly and I am sorry its happened to the White Palace. I very much doubt there will be anything done about it by the Devs. The Smart Modz developers here might be able to come up with a way to stop it via a Modz....but I assume it would require all players to have this Modz to work. I think what you have done is the best way to prevent this in the future and that is by Calling it out when it happens. We will see less of it if the 3DX community supports the builders and their wonderful creations...and if room stealing happens it needs to be made public very quickly through forums like this.

I think its important to remember that 3DXChat is not developed by a major games company. Its a couple of people in a basement

Hi Icarus Thank you for your question and this was exactly the right place to ask it Luckily we have some very smart Modz developers here on these forums and I know they enjoy answering these types of questions.

Interesting, I wonder why the Dev's stopped the encryption for the new .world format. So Icarus, in answer to your question it would seem that its confirmed, Room files can be stolen, if you know how....but it has nothing to do with the any of the Modz and is a security issue with 3DXChat. There is not a lot the Modz Admin can do about it, perhaps you need to start a topic on the 3DXChat forums and see if Gizmo will give a response to this issue.

So you are saying Alex that the "Default Game Code" would allow people who are smart enough and know how....to save someones room file as its sent/rendered on their computer as they enter the room?
